RESOLUTIONS offers a full package of services tailored to your requirements, from project coaching to case management and Arbitration. The services provided by RESOLUTIONS depend on the phase in which RESOLUTIONS is involved to solve a (potential) dispute: before, prior or during the arising of a potential dispute.

If RESOLUTIONS is involved at the start of a project, it is possible for RESOLUTIONS to act as project-coach. As project coach, RESOLUTIONS will make every attempt to have all parties communicating with each other in order to come to a satisfactory solution of the dispute for all parties involved. As project coach, RESOLUTIONS can also advise and support a client in order to achieve the best result possible for the client.

In the event that this phase of the project has been passed, it is possible for RESOLUTIONS to take on the case management of the dispute (Court case or arbitration). The case manager will prepare an execution plan in close cooperation with the client, lawyers and, if involved, expert witnesses. The case manager acts as an intermediate between the parties involved and ensures that effective progress is made as efficient as possible. Main goal for the case manager is to find a balance between the necessary activities and the costs of the dispute.

The advantage of case management for the client is that the management of the case is executed by experienced project managers, who have many years of experience in coordinating national and international arbitrations and court cases in additional to technical knowledge. This combination results in a more effective and more efficient process, since the case manager is experienced in both the project related and the technical part of the dispute and as such, he is able to relay the essential information to solicitors and/or barristers (English affairs). This work is done at a considerably lower rate than solicitors would ask.

Besides this, practice has shown that most companies have little or no experience with Court cases or arbitrations. Furthermore, within most organisations it has proven to be difficult to make people available to conduct or coordinate such or these people do not have the necessary knowledge to coordinate the dispute.
The people who have been involved in the dispute from the beginning are frequently needed for activities such as completion of the project or are involved in new projects.

The fact remains that the people involved need to be available for the necessary input on the dispute, but by the commitment of case managers this normally can be limited so that they can do their business as usual within the company as long as the Arbitration or Court Case is ongoing.
